    1. Beautifully simple, comfortable and luxurious

Reviewed: 21 November 2015 by Skitty, a Bisexual Going Steady Female

I was super-excited to receive these vibrating nipple stimulators as a secret tester item in exchange for an honest review, and was even more excited when I found out that they are from the new Fifty Shades of Grey 'Weekend Collection'! I'm not into the Fifty Shades books or movie, but purely as a sex toy brand, it's a name that I associate with absolute luxury.

These nipple stimulators make a great first impression, presented in an elegant black, white and red box. It looks expensive and would make a lovely gift. The box is also ideal for storing the stimulators in as it's compact and doesn't have any unnecessary packaging to faff around with.

The box contains 2 nipple stimulators with 2 sets of spare batteries (a lovely unexpected addition since they run on disc batteries, which, I'm sure everyone agrees, aren't fun to replace!), and a little informational note giving advice on how to fit the batteries. All of this is enclosed in a sealed shiny silver Fifty Shades branded bag to ensure hygiene, with a clear front so that you can see the contents.

The nipple stimulators are a really manageable size, extremely lightweight and made from soft, very flexible silicone. Just picking them up for the first time was enough to elicit squeals of delight as they're so gorgeously soft and beautifully designed. They're so simple it's genius!

Each silicone stimulator is a hollow sleeve that holds a bullet, and a pair of very thin “bunny ears” at the top with a black bead threaded onto them. The bead slides up and down the “ears”, creating a bigger or smaller hole for your nipple between the bead and the bullet. The bead glides along effortlessly. The design is so simple and thoughtful, especially in comparison to the difficulty of adjusting nipple rings or clamps.

I was a little worried by the 'Sweet Torture' branding on the front of the box as I prefer my nipple play as pleasure and not pain, but on seeing the toys for myself (and especially after feeling that soft, silky, stretchy silicone), I'm convinced that they cater towards the sweet end of the spectrum.

To get started, you just slip the bullet out of the silicone casing, which is easy because it's so stretchy, unscrew the cap to remove a little disc of paper, and then put it back together. The bullet has one button at the end for easy use, which switches its single speed vibration on and off.

So, nipples. Ever-changing, awkwardly shaped, pretty much always temperamental nipples... Maybe that's just mine, but I think it's fair to say that nipples are pretty diverse in terms of size and shape, and that can make it difficult to find nipple toys that are the perfect fit.

These stimulators are really flexible, stretching enough to be able to put the tips of my thumb and index finger through, which is about 3cm across when I measured stretching the silicone gap. This is really useful because I find that my nipples don't stay hard or pointy enough to be able to just push the stimulator onto them, so I have to pull them through. Even then, it can be a challenge to do up the adjuster bead to keep them in place - I think this is possibly because of having quite flat nipples and because everything about the stimulator is soft, you can't really force it so much like you sometimes can with clamps or rings.

Because of the stimulators being super-flexible, I think it has a good chance to fit a range of nipple sizes and shapes (and with Lovehoney's 365 day return policy, there's nothing to lose if they don't fit you), but I did find that, despite all my best efforts, it was not possible to put these on my boyfriend's nipples, even though he was a very well-behaved test subject. Even when his nipples were totally hard, the stimulators couldn't grip them and just slip straight off. I think that the most important factor in nipple sizing with these stimulators is height - if you have quite flat nipples, you may have some trouble with these.

The vibrations don't feel very intense to me when the stimulators are attached to my nipples, perhaps because only one end of the bullet is actually in direct contact with one side of the nipple. When I slip the stimulator over my finger, I can feel the vibrations quite well, so I think maybe there's an issue of nipple sensitivity coming into play here, but when they're on my nipples I can barely feel the vibrations unless the stimulators are being moved or the bullet is pressed against something to give it some extra pressure. That said, the combination of constriction and vibration definitely makes my nipples feel more sensitive and, after a while of wearing them, pulling and tweaking at the stimulators feels a lot more pleasant, and clothing unexpectedly brushing against the stimulators is pure ecstasy.

It's testimony to how gorgeously comfortable they are that, as someone who doesn't seek nipple pain in the slightest, I can leave them on for 20 minutes or more without any discomfort. This means that they're really perfect for introducing nipple sensations into a play session without any difficulty because once you've put them on, they stay put and can be working their magic, giving you extra sensitivity and adding more pleasure to whatever else you're doing without you having to adjust them or think about them, leaving you to enjoy the whole experience.

The vibrations create some noise but I find that this is seriously muffled when actually attached to your nipples, especially if you're wearing a top. Over regular ambient noise, you can just about hear a buzzing sound, but overall they're extremely discreet.

I'm not someone who seeks pain in nipple play, but I think that these are so soft that it would be tricky to get a lot of pinch like you can with metal clamps or rings since the adjuster bead seems to naturally want to sit at the size of your nipple rather than pinching into it. They're also extremely (even surprisingly!) lightweight, so there's no pull or drag on your nipples. They have quite a BDSM fetish type look when being worn, but without any of the hardcore sensations of weight or pinch. I think this makes them wonderful for people new to exploring nipple play, but maybe they wouldn't be quite right for people who like more intense or painful sensations.

I think if the right mood took me and I had the right level of nipple sensitivity, these would be a really easy and fun way to add nipple stimulation into a play session. They definitely deliver on the promise of "hands-free nipple provocation" and I'm looking forward to never having to hold a vibrator against my nipples ever again!

I really really like these toys and wish I'd tried these first when experimenting with nipple play as I think they're much better than rings or clamps, so they're great for beginners or introducing something a bit different into the bedroom. The only things I think could be improved would be if there were some higher vibration settings (if these were multi-speed, it would be orgasmically beautiful). Overall they're incredible though and I definitely recommend them.

The feel I get from the Fifty Shades of Grey Weekend Collection is like it's taking small, simple toys and giving them a touch of luxury, because everyone needs a little decadence sometimes! I'm so tempted to purchase other items from this collection now that I've tried these nipple stimulators because I feel like even if I've tried the type of toy before, I just know that the Fifty Shades brand will have done something to make it more exciting and even more pleasurable.

    1. Classy nipple clamps

Reviewed: 25 November 2015 by itsukzi, a Straight Going Steady Male

Received these to test in exchange for an honest review, and honestly I was impressed!

Delivered in a shiny classy Fifty Shade of Grey box with some limited information, and when opened the clamps were further packaged in a sealed plastic packet - very impressive!

On removing from the sealed packet, there was a set of batteries for each clamp though the instructions identified these as spare. I gently pulled the vibrator from the smooth silicone outer and removed the battery blanking paper. The vibrators were difficult to remove but easy to reinsert, at least there is no fear of them falling out in use!

The clamps are beautifully smooth silicone, with the FSOG wording imprinted on one side as shown in the photos. The power button for the one setting of vibration is located tidily on the bottom, with the toggle for clamping on the top of each clamp.

When turned on, the clamps are slightly louder than expected though produce a pleasant and gentle vibration. These were perfect for providing a soft teasing all over, before gently sliding the toggle down over the nipple to provide a firm but gentle clamp.

The vibrations provided from these are predominantly focused on the clamp side, so although these are good for all over use this is better with the vibrators removed from the casing.

I'm told that the vibrations from these were just right, and they certainly left the nipples gloriously erect and sensitive following their removal.

Overall I'd say these are great for a first foray in to nipple arousal, as they are neither tight nor super-powerful.

    1. Such Sweet Torture

Reviewed: 20 November 2015 by Shadow Collector

The Fifty Shades of Grey Vibrating Nipple Stimulators are a complete and utter success. They boast smooth silicone, a gentle but noticeable power and a fully adjustable fastening to suit anyone, and they manage to pull this all together in to a wonderful toy that happens to look like an adorable mechanical squid. It was a pleasure and privilege to be given a chance to test them in exchange for an honest review.

The Weekend Collection packaging consists of a small, unassuming cardboard box with an image of the product and the Fifty Shades brand decorating the front. It’s clear, accurate and not sleazy. Once you open it up you find the stimulators nestled snugly in a silver foil packet, sealed and ready to use.

The stimulators are too small to use AAA batteries or the like, when I first noticed this I was a little upset as I assumed it would mean a trek to the nearest Tesco to find an obscure set of batteries that would no doubt only be used for this toy. But I was pleasantly surprised to find out that not only does it come stocked with the necessary batteries, it has a spare set included! This, in my opinion, is the kind of touch that gives a toy an edge over competitors.

They’re made from silicone, and despite their firmness retain a delicacy thanks to the softness and obvious quality of this material. The logo is once again printed on one side of each stimulator, which personally I don’t like but as they can just be flipped over when in use doesn’t bother me much.

The plastic bead which holds the stimulators in place on the nipple is a little difficult to use on your own, but with a partner should prove no hassle whatsoever as one person can hold the silicone ‘legs’ while the other pulls down the bead until it’s tightly held.

Word of warning: it’s very easy to nip the skin when you put these on. Proceed with caution, and you will be fine.

Once they’re firmly in place they act as mild nipple clamps. This sensation is glorious enough - then the vibrations get turned on.

There is one vibration setting, turned off and on by a button at the bottom of each stimulator. As a lady with particularly sensitive nipples, I found the weaker, buzzy vibrations perfect. Worn over 15 minutes or so, they leave the nipples beautifully erect and really sensitive. Really, really sensitive, in fact.

They make a bit of noise, though they’re far from the worst thing out there. It can easily be muffled by music if needs be, but I don’t think this will be necessary unless you have excessively thin walls.

In short, I believe the Weekend Range is being aimed at couples who are perhaps new to toys and looking for a fun but non-threatening start. Having tried this particular item out, I can say without doubt that they are suitable for anyone, no matter what range of experience, and gain my wholehearted, unapologetic endorsement.

Try them! Seriously, if you like nipple stimulation you will not be disappointed.
