What's up, Doc? Well, take a look and find out. This beginners speculum is transparent, easy to insert and features just one adjustable section to make use supremely straightforward. Plus it's made of plastic for zero chills during insertion.

When closed, the insertable section has a 3.75 inch girth at it's widest point, and length of 3.5 inches that's comfortable for the patient. Once inserted, the Doctor (your partner) simply needs to twist the red toggle to gradually crank the 'duck bill' open for a greater view.

Achieve anything up to a 4 inch opening that enables easier access to internal pleasure points, such as the G-spot and cervix. Just make sure you always use this spreader with plenty of water-based lube to help insertion and stretch.

Please note: This speculum is not suitable for anal exploration.

    1. Beginning our journey

Reviewed: 01 June 2016 by Lovethekink, a Straight Married Female

For some time my partner has been interested in introducing a speculum into our bedroom play. Whilst a little dubious at first and hesitant on spending money on something which I wasn't too sure on, when this came up on the testers list I couldn't pass up the opportunity to give it a try.

As always, our parcel arrived discreetly packaged in a brown box, inside of which the speculum sat in a clear plastic bag, a little more budget looking than I expected but for the price this wasn't too much of a surprise.

Once in the plastic packaging and holding the speculum I had serious doubts about its durability, as in all honesty this looked quite flimsy and I was concerned about it trapping skin and pinching my intimate areas.

A few glasses of wine later when feeling more relaxed we opted to give this a try. With plenty of water-based lube and the speculum fully closed this slid in well with no pain or pinching, this is where the fun began. With lubed up hands, the task of winding the small red screw to widen the speculum is near impossible. So keep a towel to hand to wipe your hands to make this a little easier!

Surprisingly, the speculum opens rather wide, certainly wide enough to get a good view and even to use with some toys to add a new element to play, there was no pinching when winding either much to my surprise and when winding down just be sure to wind down fully and slide out slowly.

A perfect introduction to speculums for us!

I received this item for free to review it. It arrived in basic packaging, which is okay with me.

Don't like over packaged things. I thought it would have been a bit flimsy and break easily as it is cheap to buy, but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've used it twice since receiving it and it's quite strong, easy to use, and very comfy when inserted inside.

It's something I've been debating whether to buy or not for a while as I'm into bondage and it's great.

I love it and will be buying a metal one as I will be using this a lot more in our roleplay.

    1. Experimentation

Reviewed: 07 June 2016 by RedLady, a Straight Going Steady Female

Bought this product in the 3 for £15 offer from the Bondage page. It is made of durable plastic which, from the looks of it, does not look all that strong and certainly something I would not like to stick up, or worse break, in my vagina. But when holding it I was more confident in the product.

As other reviewers have suggested, using the screw with lubed up hands (the lube of which is a very good idea when using this item) is difficult to grasp.

Using this product, first of all my partner was incredibly shocked that I would even consider such a thing, but it pleased him that I was willing to give it a go and even introduce it to our relationship.

Using lube on the speculum is almost essential. Without lube was tried due to my partner's impatience but lube was definitely required. Water-based lubes work really well. Sliding it in was absolutely fine. I had no concerns over it snapping and hurting me.

Then my partner opened it little by little for me, which was a strange feeling that I think I may have to get used to as it started to ache after a while. But I think this is something that will get better with time. The only negative thing I have to say is the screw. It wasn't very clear how it worked at first, and using it with lubed up fingers is not ideal.

Overall, it was a new and experimental piece of fun. This has opened me up to the possible idea of speculums in the bedroom.

    2. Overall Rating:
      7 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Cheap, surprisingly sturdy.
      Cons
The screw was difficult to figure and grip with lube.
      Bottom line
      Perfect experiment for beginners.
