    1. My current favourite dildo

Reviewed: 01 May 2016 by arclight

I was looking for funky coloured dildos and boy did this deliver!

The shape is pretty much as it looks on the images but definitely a bit girthier than expected. The colour is super vibrant and I really cannot understate how much I love the look of these dildos.

      Pros:

+ Though it is properly girthy, I have found I can still take this relatively regularly without too much warming up. This is due to its slight squishiness - definitely squishier than the Lovehoney dildo and butt plug I own! This means that though it is girthy there is enough give in the silicone to use it without getting sore!

      + Really fulfilling full feeling.

+ That shape. The head rubs my P-spot just the right amount for it to not be too intense with some vigorous thrusting but still be very nice indeed.

+ Thick base gives you something to grip onto when using solo

+ Works really well with a harness (and with a 2inch O-ring incidentally - I don't own a 1.75 one!) and has lead to some very satisfying orgasms.

      Cons:

      - Using this dildo was the first time I understood what people meant when they said 'draggy'! Luckily this effect can be easily countered with a bit more lube than you would usually use. Just something to be aware of!

      - Attracts dust and hair a lot! I always give this a good rinse before use!

      - The head is great when it's inside hitting against the nice places, however, when used with a harness and my partner does some long thrusts it can be a little bit of a surprise when you suddenly feel the bump and extra stretch on its way out! The bump between the head and shaft of this dildo looks and feels pretty significant!

All in all, this dildo gets the more outings than anything else in my toy box. This is because not only is it very pretty, it also hits my P-spot just the right amount for prolonged thrusting and has a really satisfying filling girth. With this dildo, I get proper shakey leg P-spot-driven orgasms. It is still just a touch too girthy to be used all the time but it's the closest I have to a 'goldilocks' dildo.

Wouldn't recommend this to anal beginners, but I definitely recommend this to people who feel they have outgrown their slimmer dildos! It really is worth the girth.

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Great shape, satisfying girth, vibrant colour, great with harness!
      Cons
      Very 'draggy', dust magnet.
      Bottom line
Beautiful to look at, satisfying to use. My current favourite toy!

    1. Colourful cock that left me messy

Reviewed: 20 April 2016 by Sex Squid, a Bisexual Married Male

Before ordering my Adam, I read several write-ups online, including some which gave fairly mixed reviews. Not to be easily put off such a vividly coloured cock, and in the market for a thicker dildo for anal play, I went ahead and bought one anyway.

I am so glad I did!

Firstly, every dildo is hand poured, so no two are alike. For me this just makes the Adam more appealing. You can be sure that no one else has one precisely like yours. It doesn't come with a keepsake box like some high-end, luxury toys, so I'd recommend investing in a Lovehoney satin storage bag for a few £ extra. As with any silicone toy, it's going to attract fluff.

Gorgeous colours aside then, first impressions? My eyes widened somewhat at the thickness, and especially at the size of the head! I'd read that others have found the head of the Adam to be uncomfortable, due in part to the firmness of the silicone. It's true that there's no soft dual-density squish in this toy, but that's not to say that the silicone isn't good quality. It's FDA approved, platinum grade, and wonderfully smooth.

And whilst I've never seen a cock with such a massive head in real life, it's pretty realistic. For starters, I see a lot of 'realistic' toys that are covered in a mass of prominent veins. And in my experience, whilst cocks can be veiny, I've never known any to have hard wrinkly veins all over them. The Adam is more realistic in this regard in that it is smooth, with a thick urethral vein running up the underside of the shaft. A simple design then, and more attractive to look at as a result.

Holding it, I knew I wasn't going to be able to take it anally without a fair bit of prep. The Adam is a uniform 5.5" thick, but the pronounced coronal ridge means that, depending on the angle of penetration, the head can be as wide as 6". With that in mind I spent a good twenty minutes warming up with a less girthy dildo first.

Even when I felt ready to switch, the Adam's head feels hard and I had to take things really easy. It took a couple of minutes to slide myself down on its head, but when it popped past the point of no return and slid home, I nearly came on the spot!

In use, the Adam feels amazing. Yes, the initial insertion was a little challenging, but riding it I found that with only half the shaft inside me the head rubbed against my p-spot the entire time. Laying on my back I was able to grip the wide base and really thrust it hard. This left me on the verge of, but not quite, cumming. In half an hour of anal play I still hadn't yet touched my cock, but I was twitching so much that when I finally did start to stroke myself I barely lasted a minute! After a very messy orgasm I lay defeated and panting.

For the price, I thoroughly recommend the Adam. It'll take a bit of patience, and a lot of lube to take him in, especially in the bum, but once he's in... Oh My!

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Vivid colours, thickness, more realistic than some others that claim to be.
      Cons
The silicone is firm and the head is big. But it is what it is.
      Bottom line
      Fantastic value for money.

    1. Bright, Cheerful Fun

Reviewed: 21 March 2016 by Briona87, a Straight Single Female

The Godemiche dildo looks like an ideal choice for anyone who is after a fairly thick toy that is semi-realistic in shape, yet very far from those flesh-coloured dildos that may remind you of a body part that has been hacked off.

      Packaging:

The toy came in a very simple packaging - a sealed plastic bag with a tiny label with a brand name on the bottom. Seeing there is no keepsake packaging, I recommend you to add one of Lovehoney’s own toy bags (of the larger variety) in your online shopping basket. I may add that the toy has a fairly large, circular base which may be advantageous should you wish to use it with a harness (or as an anal toy that is unlikely to make it further in your body than might be advisable) but this feature makes it not an ideal item to fit into one of Lovehoney’s storage cases - you can force it inside and zip the case up but you can clearly feel the base gets a bit “squashed”, and there is always the possibility that should you keep your toy inside for a longer period of time, it might get a bit deformed.

      First Impression:

The toy itself is a pretty sight indeed - the bright, tie-dye style looks great. Each of these dildos is bound to be a tad different, mine is mostly purple with nice, pink streaks on its sides. The dildo is very smooth to touch, I would say the surface reminds me a bit of my Vixen Mustang while the firmness is more like that I associate with my Lovehoney Lifelike Silicone Dildo. There are no “veins” on the shaft of the toy (only a gentle, barely-there ridge on the underside of it), which makes the toy more “abstract” than “realistic”, yet the head is made to be quite lifelike. There is an embossed letter “G” just above the base of the toy - this feature may not appear to be awfully important, yet (as I shall tell you later) it turned out to be surprisingly useful.

The toy is 6.5 inch in total length, offering you a tad over 5.5 inch of “insertable fun” - I would say, however, that it is better suited for somewhat “shorter” thrusts because you also need to get a proper grip on it (and seeing it is so smooth, it gets very slippery, so you have to find your way to grasp it firmly enough). It is a relatively girthy toy - the shaft boasts just under 5.5-inch circumference but the lower part of the head measures in at about 6 inches (and, at most angles, the dildo “feels” even thicker). While the length may not appear to be off-putting to sex toy newbies, I would assume the girth may be too much for some of them. I heartily recommend you use plenty of lube during your playtime, and some of you might prefer to warm yourselves up with a slimmer dildo before reaching for your Godemiche.

There was a very, very faint “new toy” smell to my dildo when I first opened the package, yet I am happy to report it has since disappeared completely (and I have a very sensitive, dog-like nose).

      Cleaning:

The Godemiche dildo is a very good, quality silicone toy. You can clean it with soap and warm water or with several sprays of your favourite sex toy cleaner. Should you with to do so, you can also give it a swift dip in a pot of boiling water.

It is a breeze to wash the shaft - just do not forget to put a few extra seconds into cleaning the embossed “G”. I recommend you take more care when cleaning the underside of the head. The "groove" is quite prominent and has a tendency to collect all sorts of... fluids and gunge. With a bit of effort, however, you can surely keep your toy up to standards that would appease your “inner hygiene freak”.

The smooth silicone turns the toy into a highly skilled lint catcher (most silicone toys I own have this unfortunate ability, though) - I strongly recommend you keep it properly stored in a toy bag, and I suggest you give it a quick under the tap (just for the peace of mind) before your playtime.

      In Use:

As I have already mentioned, this toy is fairly thick - I certainly do not stint on my favourite water-based lube when I reach for it. Once coated in lubricant, the toy gets very slippery - this makes it slightly difficult to hold, yet immensely well-suited (particularly when you have warmed it up a bit before your playtime) to tease your labia and clitoris with it. Once you have warmed up a bit, you can try pushing the toy inside - I suggest you go slowly at first because the widest part of the head and the groove underneath it are certainly quite prominent.

I find the toy to be quite “filling”. It gives you a lovely feeling of a slight stretch (I guess true size queens would disagree but each to their own). It has become one of my favourite toys to clench around (keeping it motionless) while using a clitoral vibrator - a combination of a We-Vibe Tango and a Godemiche dildo is something I would heartily recommend to any pleasure-seeking lady out there.

Using the toy for thrusting may be slightly more tricky. Why? Well, I have found out that when you grab hold of the circular base and start thrusting away, the slippery toy has a tendency to turn around a bit and - while the angle you started with may have been quite perfect for G-Spot stimulation when you started your fun time - in a few moments, the pleasure may be interrupted because your toy has since turned around and you are now thrusting the tip of the head against a completely different spot inside yourself... This can be (sort of) solved when you make sure you keep one of your fingers firmly against the embossed “G” to make sure you keep it in (more or less) the same position you have started with. This can, obviously, be slightly tricky, particularly when you have rather small hands and short fingers - you can certainly get the hang of this after a few minutes. You also have to keep this bit of the dildo (relatively) lube-free.

This is, however, the only problematic issue I can think of - otherwise, I think this Godemiche dildo is absolutely brilliant!

      Short Summary:

The Godemiche Adam Twin Tone Silicone Dildo is a versatile - you can use it for “classical” vaginal play as well as for anal fun (if you dare to use a 6 inch thick toy for this venture, anyway), and, for harness adventures as well (just check the O-ring diameter).

The material of the toy is a good-quality silicone, it is smooth to touch and easy to keep clean. The bright neon-pink/purple style is attractive to look at, making the dildo a good choice for anyone who is put off by flesh-coloured, realistic toys.

The dildo is not particularly long, yet fairly thick - beginners may find it slightly overwhelming, yet “intermediate” toy fans are likely to appreciate the “full” feeling it can provide when used internally.

The only snags are the tendency to catch lint (that is something typical for smooth silicone toys, though, and I would not hold it against the Godemiche brand), and the fact it can be difficult to keep a good enough grip at it during playtime that would ensure you always hit your inner sweet spots in the best possible way.

The toy is, I think, a very good value for money - I would not be surprised to see it priced at £35-40, yet it costs less than £25. It is a true bargain!

All in all, I heartily recommend the Godemiche to any dildo lovers out there!

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
      Pros
Material, colour, the "full" feeling it gives you.
      Cons
Attracts lint, extremely slippery when lubed up.
      Bottom line
A brilliant dildo I would heartily recommend to anyone!
