    1. Spiky Gauntlet Punch

Reviewed: 16 June 2015 by Battle Cat, a Straight Going Steady Male

This was certainly an interesting new experience for me. It's my first electro-stimulation toy, and I am starting to think it won't be my last.

I was probably a bit too excited to try this, as I ripped the box open and swiftly discarded it, which was a little silly as it had some quite useful information on it which you can just make out on the product pictures.

It's quite a neat little unit that rests comfortably in the hand, and has wires of a decent enough length to give a bit of freedom of movement.

First off, though, you have to put it all together, which for this instruction-ignoring idiot wasn't at all tricky. Put the battery in (with the + side facing up), removing the little round bit of plastic first, plug the jack into the unit and plug the two other bits into the silicone rings, and you're good to go.

The slider switch clicks on and the very, very handy slider controls the intensity of the electrical stimulation.

What, I didn't know, because I am an instruction-ignoring idiot, is that both rings need to be in contact with the body or they won't work. I couldn't figure out for ages which ring was working and which was obviously broken until I figured it out. So, once I established that it was all working as intended, and that I really should read some instructions at some point, I was ready to start enjoying myself.

Putting the rings on with lube was a bit of a fumble when attempting to get those pesky testicles through, but I had much more success putting it on without lube and then just slapping some around once in place to aid conductivity. I did find that the ball ring just loved slipping off, though, but being used to cock rings I found that with care I could get the ring around my balls and shaft and it wasn't uncomfortably tight. I say 'with care' as the silicone rings themselves aren't wondrously stretchy and I fear they would be quite easy to break. The other ring that just goes on the shaft presented me with no significant difficulties, I'm pleased to say.

What's it like to actually use then, eh? Well. Blimey.

As I was new to this I had the sense to start gently, get used to the sensation, and it was very pleasant indeed. You can switch it to fast or slow pulsing and my initial preference was for fast. It just worked better for me.

After at least a minute I was an old hand at all this electro-stimulation whatnot and was ready for more power. Sliding the power up a bit more was fine. 'This is great,' said I. Bit more power and it felt more prickly, but I was now a veteran of electro experiences and kept upping the power thinking, 'I can take this, this is fine, bit more, OH MY GOD I'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE!'

I really wasn't ready for higher settings, just felt like someone had punched me repeatedly on the cock wearing a spiky gauntlet.

Undeterred, I kept on testing this out, and testing my tolerance too. I'd get to a stage when I was gritting my teeth and finding the sweet setting that was both comfortable enough and still thrilling.

I would occasionally push the power up too far and curse myself for not learning my lesson the first time but, y'know, I'm a maverick.

I didn't much like using the unit as a massager by itself, but if your idea of a fun massage is being stabbed by tiny little pins, then you may have more joy.

I'm still getting used to this and am still intrigued by it, using it whenever I can get a moment of peace, so will be interested to see how I get on with it further down the line.

Oh, and it's quiet. Apart from when I'm screaming in agony, obviously. Or is it ecstasy? Often get them confused.

    2. Overall Rating:
      8 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Interesting sensations, quiet, powerful.
      Cons
The rings feel like they would be quite easy to break without care.
      Bottom line
Worth a shot! Just go easy on the power.

    1. Complete disaster

Reviewed: 14 August 2015 by Skippio

I tried this on as I wanted to experience this kind of stimulation. But I had problems straight from the beginning.

The loop that is supposed to sit around your balls is almost impossible to get on. After 30 minutes squeezing and painful manoeuvring, it was finally on, only to come off after a few minutes and then having to do it again.

The loop that sits around the tip of the penis is too big! And thus also falls off. It really made me wonder if the designer of this product actually ever tested this on a real person. I don't think so.

I will send this back to Lovehoney and upgrade to a real system that actually works. I know Lovehoney are brilliant with returns. I'm still happy I tried it.

    2. Overall Rating:
      1 out of 10 stars
      Pros
      Nothing.
      Cons
Does not fit. Does not feel pleasant.
      Bottom line
This is some sort of toy. Not a serious piece of kit.
