    1. It's a Syn

Reviewed: 28 September 2013 by soul frequency, a Straight Going Steady Male

This was my fist experience with a silicone Aneros model and I have to say it was quite an intense one at that!

As always they come in the classy red magnetic box which added to the elegant design of the Eupho Syn, one snazzy package.

The material of the Syn is great, nice and soft but sturdy enough to put pressure on the prostate. I much prefer this to the old plastic model, also the tabs are a lot bendier and not so rigid.

In use the Syn is great. I have always liked the Eupho model but the Syn version really does it for me. Soft and easy to insert, but when it gets started it's a hands-free journey of self-f******, multiple Os and full-on bliss that can last as long as you can take it!

I can't recommend this enough for the more experienced or total beginners of prostate adventures.

    2. Overall Rating:
      9 out of 10 stars
Super smooth material and well designed and packaged.
      Not a thing.
      Bottom line
Great toy for those prostate purveyors.

    1. Slim isn't always better

Reviewed: 11 August 2013 by Seeker360, a Straight Single Male

Aneros are perhaps the market leader in prostate toys. Their devices are centred around the maxim of "practice makes perfect" rather than instant results. For this reason, they require patience and open-mindedness that may not be everyone's cup of tea.

There's no denying the absolute beauty of the Eupho Syn - the blend of high-quality silicone and plastic; the combination of deep black and red; the slender shape. This is no ugly pleasure to be hidden away - you'll have an inner struggle not to hang it on your wall it's that pretty!

The Eupho Syn is one of Aneros' thinner models, so with a light amount of lubrication, it slips in without any fuss. The thin girth does, however, present something of a problem - namely the lack of a feeling of "fullness". The toy enters comfortably, but without really making an entrance (no pun intended), which may disappoint some users.

The included instructions give a basic outline of how to use the Eupho Syn. Basically, you lie on your side with one leg elevated at a 90 degree angle and insert the toy. The toy is held firmly in place by its flared base and the handles on its bottom. To generate stimulation of the prostate, you contract and relax your pubic muscles (think starting and stopping urination).

The Eupho Syn gets the angle about right - I could feel it making contact with the prostate when contracting my muscles, giving a little pleasure as it did so. Unfortunately, the slimness of the toy becomes a big issue here - it gently touches the prostate rather than giving it a good old-fashioned slamming. The result is a gentle sensation which is by no means unpleasant, but is unlikely to shatter the Richter scale.

The circular perineum stimulation tab at the base of the toy failed to deliver entirely. At no point did I feel any stimulation when it was in contact with my perineum and during contractions. Maybe I'm missing a trick here, but it seemed entirely unnecessary.

The handle at the base is a great addition, as it allows you to manipulate the toy manually if you like. While the Aneros range are designed to be hands-free and operated via the pubic muscles, it's good to see the option being given for more traditional, hand-operated goodness.

The Eupho Syn is a gorgeous item which looks incredibly luxurious and well constructed. It is easy to insert and does deliver some small sensations, but not anything justifying its price tag. Perhaps with practice, the sensations could be improved with growing technique, but for me, it simply didn't give enough of a great impression to warrant the time.

As a final note, the Eupho Syn - despite its smaller girth - is marketed as being for advanced users. For this reason, I would recommend that beginners to the Aneros range try something a bit meatier, such as the Helix Syn.

    2. Overall Rating:
      6 out of 10 stars
Absolutely gorgeous appearance, well designed, flawless construction, handle is a good addition
Inadequate girth, no earth-shaking sensations, perineum tab useless, requires a lot of patience!
      Bottom line
Beautiful but disappointing; beginners should try an alternative Aneros model instead.
