    1. Have I been a bad girl?

Reviewed: 04 August 2015 by chocolate-milk, a Straight Going Steady Female

I love it when my BF ties my hands up. We were in need of a new pair of cuffs as we were unhappy with others we had used in the past.

I saw these and I loved the look of the blue and black. I was not disappointed when they came as they looked even more gorgeous in real life! Not only does the colour match a gorgeous peep bra and pantie set that I own, but they feel amazing on and no matter how much I move around, they remain comfortably in place.

I have slim wrists (the only part of me that is!), so I have them on the tightest link - not a problem though! My BF loves putting these on me and never has an issue with the straps, no matter how much fun we are having.

I love having these on, and I wish they had a match foot/leg cuffs and collar.

We got frustrated always trying the budget cuffs, so we decided to take the plunge and buy these cuffs.

They are awesome! Nice strong build quality, and my misses says they felt nice to use.

I don't think I would every buy cheap again after using these! Thank you, Lovehoney.

    1. Comfy cuffs

The box that these came in is my absolute favourite packaging I have ever had a toy in. The box shows the cuffs being used in a picture on the front in black and white that just screams class. The beauty of the box does mean that I think these would work brilliantly as a present, as they are presented so nicely.

      The Look:

The cuffs, as I am sure you have seen in the picture, are blue faux sued with a faux leather band in the middle. My Dom prefers the faux leather ranges since he is a vegetarian, so he approves. It's really nice to see a pair of cuffs that are slightly different to the typical black and metal whilst still being fully functional. The blue suede is really soft, as is the faux leather which lines the inside of the cuffs where the wrists go. The D-rings are nice and large and the black metal connector that comes with them really sets off the whole ensemble.

These are great if you want something classy looking that is not the black and metal that so many cuffs seem to be. Due to the dark blue, they look a little less intimidating that some cuffs may look to a newbie, and are definitely much comfier than metal handcuffs.

      Putting them on:

As with most cuffs, these can be a little tricky to put on yourself, and it is much easier with a partners help. The cuffs are made of quite thin lightweight faux leather and suede so perfect for people who want something a little lighter to use. Because they are a little lighter they also stay nice and cool around the wrists.

I found that originally I was putting them on wrong, so if anyone has difficulties working it out, remember to put the part with the buckle on, over the part with the holes, or they can be a little more difficult to put on.

They are a tiny bit stiff to put on originally, but this is not a problem if a partner is putting them on for you, it just requires two hands, and as they are comfortable, it is not a problem to wear them for extended periods of time, hence it is worth the couple of minutes it takes to put them on correctly.

They go up to a nice large size, which is brilliant as in the past I have had cuffs that I have found do not go up to the larger sizes.

      Wearing them:

These feel nice and comfortable on the skin. The faux leather is done right feeling smooth rather than "plasticky" as some can feel. The chain connector is also lightweight, which means that you can keep them on comfortably for long periods of time if you wish to do so.

The clasp is very strong and so will withstand pulling if it needs to. The cuffs themselves also are strong enough to withstand even rough pulling.

After a little while I did find my wrists getting a little sweaty underneath, but it is the middle of the summer and has been very warm everywhere regardless, so I don't think that this would be a problem in a cooler environment.

      Being bound:

Being bound in these cuffs is easy because they come with the metal connector chain, allowing comfortable binding with the wrists behind the back or in front of you. The D-rings that come for the black chain to be attached to are really nice and big, and so can fit nice thick rope in them, or even dressing gown cords or the like if you are improvising. The metal chain that comes with them is completely detachable which is great if you want to use your own restraint methods.

I found being bound in these comfortable, although they could possibly use a tiny bit of padding for extra comfort if you want to bind someone for long periods of time in positions that put a lot of strain on the wrists. That being said for the price that these are, you are getting a comfortable well made pair of cuffs.

The best bits (according to me):

      Comfortable soft material.

Small and lightweight so easy to transport (got them stored in an empty pencil case at the moment).

      Look different to other cuffs.

Faux leather - so nice to the animals.

      Nice big D ring.

The bits that could be improved (according to me):

They are not padded, so are not great for prolonged tying up in strained positions.

I think these cuffs are great for people who want some classy looking lightweight cuffs to use. They don't look to intimidating and feel comfortable to wear. They are made to a good quality and so are brilliant for people who want to be able to use them for real restraining, as they will withstand pushing and tugging.

I have to mention it again, I really love the box they come in, and so they would look great if brought as a present for a partner, left boxed on the bed. They are not too expensive and so don't break the bank, but still give you cuffs that will work in heavier duty situations, as well as lighter situations. If you're going to spend ages using these for intense bondage sessions, you may want to invest in something padded, but for any other purposes these will fit the bill comfortably and well.

    2. Overall Rating:

      Bottom line
