Joyride Rattlesnake Textured Glass Dildo

I am in love with glass toys. I really do think they are the best dildos around and I'm always on the look out for new ones. I spotted this months ago and put it straight on my wish list where it stayed for a long time. When I noticed that it was going to be discontinued I knew it was time to order before it was too late.

It appealed to me for a number of reasons: the interesting pattern, gorgeous colour, and decent size. For a glass toy, it has a really good girth to it, which some can lack. It's not cheap, however, it's certainly not too badly priced for what it is.

When it arrived I was instantly impressed with the packaging. It comes in a smart box with a sticker to show it has been sealed and untampered with. It comes with a grey storage bag which is brilliant as it means you can store it safely when not in use. The box is very big for the size of the toy however so a little bit of a waste of packaging.

When I took it out I was really blown away. It looks beautiful and it really is a piece of art. It has a good weight to it being made of glass, and it has so much to experiment with: beads, a bulbous head and a twisted 'rattle snake' end, so hours of fun to be had.

I instantly wanted to give this a try. The bulbous end filled me out really nicely and is perfect for out of this world internal stimulation. The twisted end is smaller but offers a really interesting feel, especially when rotated slowly inside. There really are so many options with the toy.

It can get pretty slippery when coated in lube and the smaller end, in particular, can be difficult to keep hold of! It's so easy to clean though and it doesn't take much effort to do this.

Overall, this is a wonderful dildo and a definite winner in my glass collection. I'm so happy I managed to get hold of one before it was discontinued.

The box is delightful and looks beautifully retro. I commented on opening that it looked like it belonged in Tron. All impressive angles and robust packaging. It feels great in your hands and would make an excellent present.

I open it by tearing through the little sticker that reassures you that their toys tested rigorously. Always nice to have the reassurance when buying glass toys as understandably people still often have concerns regarding them. But when correctly made these toys are safe, hygienic, and a delight to use.

Inside the box, the toy is held in place securely by its package, and immediately I spot the bag down at the base. This well-designed bag has a reassuring thickness and overall an excellent addition. I own a few glass toys and even when buying ones from premium brands sometimes they neglect to give you a storage bag. Which is frustrating as again carefully storing these toys is essential for peace of mind.

In your hand, the Rattlesnake feels delightful, weighty and with a smooth finish. The light catches it in the most attractive of ways that photographs would struggle to do justice.

During play, it excels. The shape of the bulbous head feels great, and the narrower twisted handle gives you excellent grip which can frequently be an issue with all toys.

I found that I could maintain my grip well enough to keep movements far more in pace with how I desired them than with other toys. It's especially good for people who enjoy stimulation with 'just the tip.' You can even use the toy the other way around, inserting the narrower end, if your current whim wishes for it, and still, it feels great.

I can find no faults at all with this toy and will certainly be considering purchasing others from the brand in the future. The Rattlesnake would make an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys glass toys.

Let's be clear, I love glass toys, and have over ten! But for all the sensual curves, bumps, and pretty colours they have one thing in common - bar one or two in my collection, they tend to be quite slim. Whenever I see a new glass toy arrive on Lovehoney, I head straight for the description section to check its size. With its interesting swirly-headed design and 5" circumference, I knew I had to get the Joyride.

First off, it comes in some stylish enough packaging, but not stylish enough to keep. Also, the box is pretty big! No matter, a grey velour drawstring bag is included, so bye bye box! The Rattle Snake has a distinctive design, tapered at both ends, with the tail end looking similar to, well, you get the gist.

What I really like about this toy is its head. It's really easy to insert, and a swirl design is cut into it with fine grooves. I have another glass dildo with a spiral design down its length, but those spirals are prominent raised bumps, which give interesting sensations when you twist it slowly in and out, but they don't lend well to thrusting. Being indented, the sensations from the Rattle Snake are far more subtle, but still noticeable. And once the head slides home, it's very comfortable for shallow thrusting and grinding against.

The mid-section has two beaded lumps. I find pushing past the first gives me the perfect depth to find my P-spot. Just as well, as I daren't take the second bead for fear of losing the toy internally. One reason I love glass is that you can use super-slippery silicone lube with it, but the downside of that is that it can be difficult to keep a firm grip on the toy. Same problem here with the narrow tail.

No matter, inserting the tail end feels just as good and holding the head gives you a bit more confidence in handling the toy. The tail doesn't hit the prostate as well as the head, but twisting it in and out of your bum feels great.

All in all, this is a really nice dildo. It offers a range of sensations that are all suitable for anal play. It has decent enough girth to satisfy intermediate players, and as with all other glass toys, it's a breeze to keep clean with spritzer and to store.
